911-S.A.F.E.R.

(Special Advisory For Emergency Responders)

 

 

 

 

The Overton-Pickett Emergency Communications District (Overton-Pickett 911) has implemented a valuable new, potentially life-saving, service for our local residents and businesses. 911-SAFER provides for the entry of a special advisory of your choice into our database which will appear when 911 is called from the applicable wired and/or wireless phone.

The inclusion of these special advisories will aid emergency responders in delivering the most efficient emergency services possible. They will also contribute to improved safety for you, the caller, and the emergency responder.

Examples of 911-SAFER advisories:

• Resident in wheelchair
• Locked entrance gate, key located under planter
• Beware - Vicious dog
• Call my son at (phone no.)
• Dialysis patient

Anyone interested in participating in 911-SAFER, please provide your special advisory with applicable phone number(s) to OPECD at 255 Industrial Park Dr., Livingston, TN, 38570, or fax to 931-823-2474, send by e-mail message to sgray@opecd.com.
